Welcome to the LDS Filmmakers' Network, the online gathering place for Mormon film, television, and media professionals throughout the world. The network exists to help Church members in these industries meet, collaborate, receive feedback, and enhance both their work and the strength of the Church throughout the globe. It is open to all Latter-day Saints over 18 years of age regardless of professional experience; others should not join and members should be well behaved. When you join we're also requiring real names (or your frequently used stage name--no "MormonFilmGuy72," though) with first and last name. Members do not have to be working on Mormon-themed films, and we hope this site will benefit both Mormon films and mainstream films that have Mormon participation.

PLEASE JOIN THE GROUPS! They are the heart and soul of this site!
To list them in order, go to the Groups page then use the “Sort by” drop-down menu in the top right corner to select “Latest.” There are two types of groups: geographical and professional. When thus arranged, the first category will be listed in a geographic progression and the second in alphabetical order.

* ALL MEMBERS, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING

1) CREATE A PROFILE - Include stake/district membership info (that's required--not to pry, but we do want this to be an LDS network), resume/biographical info, and links or examples of your work. Customize and have fun.

2) JOIN THE GROUPS – The network won’t be very effective unless we do. It will be required that everyone join one and only one geographical group, and suggested that everyone join as many professional groups as apply—there may be more than you expect. (See above on how to alphabetize them.)

3) INVITE EVERYONE – We want to include all LDS film, television, and media professionals. Help spread the word!

4) USE THE SITE – Please use the resources of the site to blog, discuss, send messages, and network. Please organize or announce events (on this page, in the bar to the left), find help or collaborators, solicit feedback, proclaim your accomplishments and milestones (via the forum or your profile page), or anything else. Let’s use this to support each other and enhance all our work; to do that please let us know what you’re doing! (And please refrain from personal attacks, profanity, and all other un-saintly behavior...)

Mostly let's just lend each other moral support as we pursue our individual careers and seek to enhance Mormonism's contribution to world cinema.
